Yo Transformations is founded by Yo — bodybuilding & fitness coach, gym owner, personal trainer, athlete, and competitive figure competitor.

Alongside a strong background in fitness, Yo is a published writer and Careers Blogger for the Express & Star, having collaborated with Clinical Psychologists and Careers Bloggers, and contributed to platforms such as The Undercover Recruiter.

Yo holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychology, and is also certified in Life Coaching and High Performance Coaching.

COMPETITIVE JOURNEY

Yo’s competitive journey is defined by discipline, resilience, and rapid success.

After beginning training in October 2012, she stepped on stage just 6 months later — winning both her class and the Overall Women’s Title against experienced athletes.

Working full-time as a Rehabilitation Assistant in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, often completing 12–13 hour shifts in high-pressure environments, Yo pursued her goal relentlessly — proving that elite performance is possible even under extreme demands.

WORK ETHIC & LIFESTYLE

Yo’s preparation journey reflects extreme discipline and consistency:

  • Night shifts: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM → sleep → cardio → training → repeat
  • Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM → train → prep → minimal sleep
  • Additional sessions during breaks and early mornings (as early as 4 AM)

This experience gives Yo a deep understanding of real-life constraints — balancing work, training, recovery, and nutrition at the highest level.
